“Tacos. Jollof. Total chaos.”
The brief
Two street-food legends, one handheld, no bland fillers.
Taco Jollof is a collision of continents: Mexican street tacos and West African jollof rice, mashed into a single unapologetic experience. The brief was to introduce that fusion to a market that hadn't seen it, starting with signature jollof-spice-filled tacos, and to build a visual and flavour identity that could live on streets, on screens and in hearts.
The idea
Culture-rich, street-smart, and loud on purpose.
The audience is the bold tribe — Gen Z foodies, urban hustlers, flavour chasers who want something different, spicy and real. So the identity refuses to be tasteful about it. A hot magenta-and-yellow palette, type with volume, and a tone that reads as a beat rather than a menu. No cultural faking: the brand reps both roots rather than flattening them into a trend.
The outcome
Built to scale from a street cart to a bottled sauce.
A full identity and packaging system designed to move from street carts to cloud kitchens across cities — with the runway already mapped toward wraps, bowls, jollof platters, merch and sauces that carry the same fire.
