“Brooooo, this hits different.”
The brief
Mexican street food, but for people who grew up on Indian spice.
Burrito Bro sets out to bring the noise of Mexican street food to India by blending classic burritos with familiar Indian spices and cravings. The first outlet is a college kiosk at Bennett University, Greater Noida — which means it had to win a student crowd first, in a market already holding Taco Bell, California Burrito, Faasos and Burger Singh.
The idea
Mexican at heart, desi in the mouth — and loud enough for a campus.
The system runs on two marks: a hand-drawn wordmark with real swagger, and an ЯR monogram tight enough to stamp on a box, a cap or a kiosk fascia. Around it sits a wanted-poster illustration language — Mr. Tacos and Mr. Burrito, both wanted, reward $100,000 — that gives the brand somewhere to be funny without diluting the food.
The outcome
A brand that arrives as a place, not just a logo.
Primary and secondary logo, type system, a five-colour palette drawn straight from the food, packaging across burritos, tacos and bowls, business cards, apparel, and a full kiosk design and layout ready to build. Next stops: more colleges, then the major Indian cities.
